Quality and standards — what sets AdBlue® apart from plain urea solution
AdBlue® is a normative product. Its composition, purity, storage and transport are defined by ISO 22241 — and it is the standard, not the seller's declaration, that decides whether the tank holds AdBlue®.

Our product meets ISO 22241-1, and its conformity is confirmed by tests performed in an accredited laboratory — for every batch received from the producer. Distribution, storage and transport follow ISO 22241-3, and our tankers and filling equipment are dedicated exclusively to AdBlue®.
How to store AdBlue® on your site
- Storage temperature up to 25°C, in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight.
- AdBlue freezes at −11.5°C, but after thawing has the same parameters — frost does not lower quality.
- Freezing expands it by about 7% — never fill a tank or container to the brim.
- Thaw naturally. Never with an open flame or a heater against the tank wall.
- Prolonged overheating and UV radiation do the damage — above 30°C urea decomposes faster.
- Use only equipment dedicated to AdBlue. Approved materials are high-alloy austenitic steels and polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Surfaces in contact with the solution must be free of oil, fuel, detergents and solid particles.
Shelf life depends on temperature
The shelf life of AdBlue® is not a single number — it follows from the temperature the solution is stored at. The values below are minimum shelf lives at constant temperature, according to ISO 22241-3.

That is why an unshaded warehouse under sheet metal can cut a stock's shelf life by a year — even if the label shows a longer date.
A sealed sample with every delivery
Every delivery comes with a sealed sample of the very batch you received. If a quality dispute arises, you hold material for independent laboratory testing.
We consider this a standard every buyer should demand. A supplier who does not offer a sample shifts the burden of proof onto the customer.
